 In archetypal astrology we look at planetary archetypes not as rigid predictors of fate, but as a symbolic language of potentials. Planetary archetypes are deep, organizing principles in the collective unconscious. They are universal forces that shape our inner world and outer circumstances. Archetypal astrology allows us to understand these unfathomably complex psychic structures of the collective unconscious because the planets are also participating in the unfolding archetypal weather. The language of the unconscious is mythopoetic and astrology offers a great symbolic roadmap for understanding archetypal potentials of any given moment.
